Curt Engelhorn endowed chair in American History Prof. Dr. Manfred Berg

Prof. Dr. Manfred Berg is head of the Curt Engelhorn Chair in American History since 2005 at the University of Heidelberg. His main research focus is the political and social history of the United States, with particular interest in subjects such as Civil Rights, democracy and political polarization. He regularly publishes in research journals and essay collections and shares his expertise in the press, as well as on the radio and television.
