Lea-Marie Trigilia is a graduate student in global history at Heidelberg University. Broadly interested in Latin American history and history of science, of knowledge, and of the environment, she wrote her bachelor’s thesis on fever theories in early nineteenth-century Argentina, where she is originally from. She has previously worked as a tutor at Heidelberg's History Faculty as well as a student assistant at the Chairs of Contemporary History and of Modern History. Her additional work experience includes a position as a student assistant Heidelberg's University Library's Specialised Information Service for Art and an internship at an academic publishing house. Lea joined the project in October 2023 and manages and supports FEVER’s research, teaching, and outreach programmes.
