Department of History Outreach

Academic communication has a very high priority at the Department of History, as demonstrated by the establishment of Germany's first professorship for ‘Applied History - Public History’ in 2012. The members of the Department of History are networked with a large number of research organisations and non-university institutions in Germany and abroad (see ‘Cooperations’). Current information from research is presented in blog posts, interviews, podcasts and other media in an understandable and engaging way.
