Overview  Erasmus, Elan & Co. (Incoming & Outgoing)

Studying abroad is always an interesting opportunity to gain additional cultural experience and to familiarise yourself with and compare your own degree programme in an international context. At the same time, you deepen your foreign language skills, which are an important part of studying history.

It is possible to go abroad via the following programmes:

  • Erasmus+
  • ELAN
  • German-French Master's and Doctoral Programme

All links can be found below.

You can also find information on study abroad programmes in the USA on the website of the Chair of American History.

To all incomings: welcome to the Department of History! Your first point of contact at the Department of History is the Erasmus representative. You will set up the Learning Agreement with them. Depending on your language skills and the requirements, you can choose your courses from our programme (‘As a guest at the Department of History’). The academic advisors are also available to answer your questions. Courses and examinations are organised via the campus management system heiCO.
