Courses

The Curt Engelhorn Chair proposes a wide array of courses concerning the history of North America. These cover a time span from the colonial beginnings to the American Revolution, the Civil War to the present day. Subject focus points lie in the political, social and cultural history of the United States. The research oriented courses of the chair include overview lectures, as well as thematically concentrated seminars and colloquies about running qualification works.

All courses that are offered by the History Department and related institutes are registered in the campus management system heiCO. You can also find information about registration to the courses there.
