Study abroads

The Division for International Relations offers support to students that are interested in a semester or internships abroad. Useful counseling and orientation is given by the Infocenter for Study and Internship Abroad, where you can gain an overview of the exchange programs offered by the university, further tips and possibilities on financing your trip, as well as general help during the registration process.

Contact persons can also be found among the staff members of Department 7.1. for Study Abroad, Exchange Programs and International Cooperation.

Bilateral programmes (direct exchanges) as well as state programmes from the University of Heidelberg to US-American universities are part of the international offer.

The Heidelberg Center for American Studies also offers an overview concerning exchange possibilities for students who are interested in doing one or more semesters of exchange in a US-American university.
