Prof. Dr. Manfred Berg Curriculum Vitae
Prof. Dr. Manfred Berg holds the professorship of the Curt Engelhorn endowed Chair in American History at the University of Heidelberg and counts as a leading expert for the history of the United States in Germany. His research focuses on the political and social history of the USA. After visits at the Freie Universität Berlin, the German Historical Institute in Washington, D.C., as well as different visiting professorships, he has been appointed his professorship at the University of Heidelberg. Prof. Dr. Berg has been awarded with several scientific prizes and is active in numerous national and international expert committees.
